POTRET PROSTITUSI DI WARUNG KOPI “PANGKU” (STUDI DI KEC. NGUNUT, KAB. TULUNGAGUNG)

“Pangku” coffee shop is a social phenomenon found in Ngunut sub-district, Tulungagung district. “Pangku” coffee shop is a coffee shop which the waiter uses a sexy and scantily dress who acts as a drink delivery waitress, chat buddy and karaoke guide. In the neighborhood of pangku coffee shop there is prostitution in it, which is done by the waiters of pangku coffee shop. This research is a study using qualitative descriptive methods. Descriptive research intends to make systematic, factual and accurate awareness of the facts and traits of a particular population. The data collection techniques used are observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentering, drawing conclusions. While in the criteria of validity of data using the technique of triangulation source. The waitresses of “pangku” coffee shops who do prostitution have various portraits of the problems that led them to involve into a prostitution life. These kinds of portraits are: Coming from a broken family and being a breadwinner of a family that must support their mother and sister alone, a glamorous lifestyle to gain recognition from others to be considered from the group of people, become the "breadwinner of the family" because post-divorce and their ex-husbands are not responsible for giving the children livelihoods. The local community is familiar with the environment of “pangku” coffee shop and has confirmed that prostitution is in it. There is no moral prohibition but if it violates public order and makes a mistake, it will be witnessed by the public
